Lawrence Norden is the senior director of the Elections and Government Program at the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law. Norden leads the Center’s work in a variety of areas, including its efforts to ensure that U.S. election infrastructure is secure and accessible to every voter, and to protect elections from disinformation and foreign interference. He is the lead author of the book The Machinery of Democracy: Protecting Elections in an Electronic World (Academy Chicago Press, 2006) and a contributor to Defending Democracies: Combatting Foreign Interference in a Digital Age (Oxford University Press, 2021).
