Roland Dittmeyer is professor of engineering and director of the Institute for Micro Process Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, in Germany. His research focuses on the conversion of green electricity, such as wind-generated power, to forms suitable for industrial, transportation, and other large-scale uses. He holds Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees in chemical engineering from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.
