DeLiang Wang is a professor in the department of computer science and engineering and the Center for Cognitive and Brain Sciences at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He is a University Distinguished Scholar and directs OSU’s Perception and Neurodynamics Laboratory, which focuses on developing algorithms to solve problems related to machine perception. Wang received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, in 1991 after completing his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Peking University, in Beijing. He is co-editor in chief of the journal Neural Networks.
