Arturo Massol-Deyá is the executive director of Casa Pueblo de Adjuntas, a community-based group in Puerto Rico that has provided natural resources conservation, education, and sustainable development for the past 40 years. He earned a Ph.D. from the Center for Microbial Ecology at Michigan State University in 1994, and he’s a faculty member in the department of biology at the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez.
