THE INSTITUTE Today there are millions of connected wireless medical devices powered by the Internet of Things as well as biosensors that monitor and deliver life-saving treatment for patients. The connected devices, which can form a personal patient area network, collect critical data to help people understand their health. The growing use of medical wearable technology is raising a variety of concerns, however, resulting in a slowdown in their adoption.
The IEEE Global Wearables and Medical IoT Interoperability and Intelligence (WAMIII) program from the IEEE Standards Association Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice offers a series of free on-demand webinars and presentations that address those concerns.
