Google and LiveJournal acknowledged this morning (see stories here and here) that they also were hit by a denial of service attack yesterday, along with Twitter and FaceBook. Google shrugged it off, while LiveJournal crashed for about 2 hours.
MySpace apparently was not attacked; however, some are saying that merely shows that MySpace is losing its importance in the social networking world.
Ouch.
