Another interesting entry in the field of performance analysis tools for the weekend warrior is the Babolat Play Pure Drive. The tennis racket wirelessly transmits data on the speed and angle of swings, and where and how hard the ball makes contact with the strings, to its companion smartphone app. The app analyzes the information and presents a breakdown of each type of shot (forehand, backhand, serve) in terms of how often you hit it flat, create topspin, or slice it in a way that’s likely to result in a point for your opponent.
