Multiphysics Simulation for Electrical Engineers
"On Demand"
(Duration: 1 hour)
Simulation has emerged as the key process in the research and design of all types of electronic components. And as the design goals of engineers become more sophisticated, simulation must take into account more refined and detailed analysis. In particular, multiple physical phenomena such as MEMS, RF components, power electronics, semiconductors, and electromechanical systems must be accounted for when simulating. This presentation will focus on the crucial issues of multiphysics simulation that face today's electrical engineers.
In addition, Talso Chui will explore the technology behind the Mars Science Laboratory (MSL), the next in a series of rovers to explore Mars, using a detailed 3D FEM model within the COMSOL multiphysics work environment.
