Blind spots may soon be a thing of the past. A new retroreflective technology, created by researchers at Keio University in Japan, makes car doors and back seats appear invisible. Retroreflective screens join forces with a series of cameras, projectors, mirrors, and some serious optics to give drivers the nearly magical sensation that they’re piloting a car made completely of glass.
