The 2015 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems in Hamburg, Germany, had one of the biggest expo areas we’ve ever seen, stuffed full of all kinds of amazing robots. In addition to industry exhibitors, there was a strong presence from research institutions, especially from Europe, demonstrating the unique capabilities of the robotic platforms that they’ve developed.
While it was physically impossible for us to interview every single robot, we spent a few minutes with six of the biggest, flashiest, and most exciting (and their human servants), including KAIST’s DRC-HUBO, the winner of the DARPA Robotics Challenge. And make sure to check out all the rest of our awesome coverage of IROS 2015.
