Help Us Find Today’s Unsung Engineering Heroes

Know a hero? Then let us know

Is there a hero sitting in the next cubicle? This month, IEEE Spectrum is inviting readers to identify today’s unsung engineering heroes—exemplars of engineering excellence who, for whatever reason, have not received the recognition they deserve. What makes a hero? Someone who meets at least one of the following criteria:

  • Has overcome major adversity in the pursuit of his or her career
  • Is doing great good in the world
  • Has solved a significant technical challenge with wide-reaching impact
  • Has brilliantly led a meaningful and important project

Please use the form below to tell us about your hero.

A selection of these heroes will be featured in next year’s annual Dream Jobs for Engineers report.
