Career Opportunities In Consumer Electronics – What Technical Skills Are Most In Demand Today?

2:30 PM ET / 11:30 AM PT

Speakers:
Stuart J. Lipoff, Partner, IP Action Partners
Steve Koenig, Director of Industry Analysis, Consumer Electronics Association

The spectacular growth of the consumer electronic products sector and the demand innovation and shorter development cycles are requiring semiconductor suppliers to work more closely with CE producers to improve design processes and help bring CE products to market faster. A joint survey by KPMG, the Global Semiconductor Alliance and the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) found that about two thirds of IC respondents currently derive 60% of their revenue from CE products. That’s expected to jump to 80% in five years, as the penetration of technology into U.S. households continues to grow.  Join us to find what career opportunities are there for engineers and other technical professionals in this very exciting and dynamic market.
