Intel's Antitrust Woes Aren't Over
Despite settling with AMD, federal and state investigations continue
Intel ended its antitrust and patent disputes with AMD this week by writing its archrival a $1.25 billion check. So are its antitrust woes over? Hardly. As Spectrum editor Anne-Marie Corley explains, New York State is aggressively pursuing a case that is nearly identical to the one in Europe that cost Intel a billion Euros earlier this year.
