Judy Estrin is uniquely qualified to talk about innovation. She has co-founded seven different technology companies; when one of them was bought by networking goliath Cisco Systems she became its chief technology officer. She now teaches at Stanford University. Her book,”Closing the Innovation Gap”, was just published by McGraw-Hill Press. Andy Grove of Intel called it “A passionate look at innovation by a proven innovator concerned about the level of short-sightedness surrounding us.” Steven Cherry recently spoke to her about what the innovation gap is and how to close it.
