Last week, U.S. President Obama laid out his vision for space, breaking a long-held silence that has frustrated space enthusiasts and professionals alike since the 2011 fiscal budget was announced in February. His plan is long on vision and will put Americans back in space in a big way, if it can run the fiscal gauntlet of the most fractious Congress in living memory, according to Spectrum editor Anne-Marie Corley.
