On September 25, the gallery opened an exhibition with ”everyday objects deprogrammed of their original function and embedded with new intelligences.” The velvet rope in the center of the photo is actually a work from Germaine Koh’s ”Fair Weather Forces” series; it raises and lowers in response to live tide and water-level data from the nearby Hudson River.
