At last year’s CES, we did a video roundup of all the wireless power companies at the show. Powercast, which uses radio waves to transmit power, was showing off these proof-of-concept wireless Christmas ornaments at this year’s much bigger booth. Wireless power may still be a couple of years from the mainstream, but if you want to use the technology in your own projects, Powercast will sell you an evaluation and development kitfor US $1995.
