Everyone's favorite creepy-looking robot, the BigDog designed by Boston Dynamics, was recently taken out for some field testing at Fort Benning in Georgia. The base news service, the Benning Report, covered the testing -- there are some interviews with soldiers that interacted with it, who may one day be the very soldiers using BigDog in combat zones, and there are some interesting closeups of the hardware that I hadn't seen before.
